Hey there my name is Hannah but you can call me Nyx.
Here's a few things you should know about me.
1. I think I'm funny, a sad affliction brought on by people seeming to laugh with me rather than at me over the years.
2. This affliction has led to a serious case of sarcasm which despite seeking some of the worlds greatest minds for help I make others suffer from on a daily basis. Thankfully, I myself do not suffer, see number one.
3. I'm a history nerd. I love history and will probably end up throwing random history lessons onto here from time to time to satisfy my 'nerdal' (like carnal but related to knowledge as opposed to baser needs) urges.
4. I'm a 'dabbler'. There is a phrase, "jack of all trades," which implies a certain level of proficiency in a great many areas. I do not claim to possess this elusive "proficiency" simply seek it in a great many directions. I'm in the habit of walking down a path towards "skill" and ending up following the deer path titled "frivolous" instead.
5. I turned the FIFA: World Cup video game into a combat game (but I'm not very good at playing it like that either.)
6. I don't know what I want to with my life. All I know is I want to end up living in the Arizona desert as a successful glass artist. The quote that describes me best is "I want to burn until there's nothing left to burn about" from "Breaking Out" by Protomen. I have a million rants about what I think life is meant for and the grand schemes and hopes I have for my life and saving the world but that's what this blog is for.
